The supposed spa bath, oh surprise, took an eternity to fill. More shocking, the door was a rusty metal fortress, not exactly my idea of luxury. I almost considered complimenting them, but then I remembered I was treated like a regular guest. No one offered even a bottle of water as a courtesy, how rude!

The location was magnificent, if you need to be near a main street and a castle. And I was near restaurants and bars;)))

Exceptionally comfortable bed, beautiful bathroom and a private safe, a minibar and central heating in the room. Sensational breakfast choice with scrambled eggs and as much food and fresh fruit, really good and welcoming staff.

What makes it worth it, and what doesn't

Our room offered fine views and the breakfast was deliciously convenient, served in the comfort of our suite, great to savor it at our own pace.

Finding the hotel was a challenge due to poor signage, and noise from outside was disturbing at times.

my junior suite with a fine castle view made my stay nice, and the friendly staff were full of great recommendations for nearby attractions like the vibrant San Carlo Theatre just a short walk away, providing the perfect blend of comfort and exploration in the heart of the city.

Oh man, the burger joint down the street-La Lazzara Trattoria e Pizzeria-had some of the juiciest, mouthwatering burgers I've had. Plus, the room was surprisingly clean and spacious despite some hiccups.

Getting to the place was a bit of a scavenger hunt with only a small sign to guide us, and the shower's waterfall feature didn't quite work as planned.

The king suite had mould issues, the jacuzzi was non-functional, and the peeling paint on the walls is unacceptable!!! The view from the window failed to meet expectations, only overlooking a random backstreet. Lack of essential items like an iron is a hassle!!!

All fine, but breakfast cold

The room with a lovely castle view provided a beautiful backdrop to my trip. The breakfast was good, with a variety of options delivered right to my door, great for a relaxing start to the day.

The shower had inconsistent hot water.

The highlight was visiting Molo Beverello Port, where we took a lovely family boat trip. The staff went out of their way, providing useful local tips and ensuring our little one was entertained.

In my wife's opinion, extra amenities for kids would be great.

The staff were cute and helpful, and the in-room breakfast option made mornings good. The location was perfect-right by the metro stop and major attractions.

The signage for finding the place could be better. It was somewhat challenging at first.

The room with a castle view was spacious and included an excellent ensuite bathroom with a Jacuzzi. Staff were friendly, providing recommendations and assistance without being asked. The whirlpool had issues with loose parts, and hot water was inconsistent from the shower. The breakfast selection was enjoyable but served in a limited manner rather than as a buffet.

Great 24-hour security and loved the relaxing head massage. No luggage storage, though.
